Crafted from a plot of vines planted in 1904 facing the Loire on flinty soils with calcareous subsoil, the 2022 Saumur Champigny Les Mémoires evokes aromas of wild dark berries, cassis, flowers and spices. Medium-bodied, deep and concentrated, it’s elegantly fleshy and satiny with a long, mineral and resonant finish. It fermented in open concrete tanks. DRINK DATE 2024-2044.
