Arthur Lotrous – Les sources d’Agapé – Saint Amour
After studying physics and chemistry in Paris, Arthur Lotrous decided to move to the Mâcon region to study wine and to fulfil his dream of becoming a winemaker.
He has had several experiences in the wine industry since 2013, notably at the famous Domaine de la Soufrandière owned by the Bret brothers. It is in the village of Saint-Amour, in the Beaujolais region, that he finally settled in 2018 to take over a farm, outside the family framework, and create his own estate: Les sources d'Agapé.
Consisting of 6 hectares of vines in Cru Saint-Amour and 0.5 ha of Cru Juliénas, his estate allows him to produce several parcel-based cuvées corresponding to his different terroirs.
From the outset, Arthur Lotrous has chosen excellence to offer only the very best. His estate is in conversion to organic farming and the official label will appear on the labels of the 2022 vintage. It is the most altruistic of winemakers who introduced us to this new winemaker with a bright future: the Bret Brothers!
