Peter Fischer, winemaker at Chateau Revelette, was not destined to sign organic wines. This descendant of German industrialists still produces wines among the best in Provence, in the purest respect for his land and vines, and this since 1985.

This enthusiast learned viticulture in California and the vinification known as High Tech, in gigantic wineries. He concocts some stunning wines, but far from the vines and the land. There, one teaches to juggle between the famous yeasts of synthesis and the chemical treatments. A scientific work, more than a winemaker.

Life finally leads him to Chateau Revelette, a little piece of land in Provence, a few kilometers from Aix-en-Provence, totally isolated amidst immense forests, wild, mysterious, and as stopped in the time. Peter Fischer falls under the charm of this old building, its French gardens and its absolute calm. He decided to acquire in 1985 this northern terroir with its thirty hectares of vines, divided into seventeen plots located between 330 and 400 m of altitude. With these eleven grape varieties, hevinifies three "crescendo" wines: "Pur", "Chateau", and the well named "Grand Vin".
